Johana is a young and bright immigrant from Venezuela, who has been living in the US for more than 20 years… without papers.
She graduated from the University of Colorado – Boulder, with a double major in molecular developmental cellular biology and psychology neuroscience, has always been an avid sports enthusiast and competed in varsity teams through her high school career and has always been interested in sciences. Johana's life-long dream is to become a physician and with the help of DACA, a temporary executive action passed instead of the Dream Act, she is on her way to achieve that goal.
